Rancer Desktop 1.15.0 issue

 

Today, I encountered an issue after updating Rancher Desktop from version 1.12.x to 1.15.0 on my Apple Silicon M1 (Sonoma 14.5). The error message was as follows:

To resolve this issue, I followed some steps from this GitHub issue:

1. Reinstalled Rancher Desktop.

2. Quit Rancher Desktop.

3. Deleted the moved configuration by executing rm -rf ~/.rdlima.

4. Started Rancher Desktop and pressed the Rancher Desktop > Troubleshooting > Factory Reset button.

After following these steps and restarting Rancher Desktop, the application started working again.
